Refund Policy

1. Introduction

Global Youth Vision of Hope (“we,” “our,” “us”) deeply appreciates your generous support. As a nonprofit organization, donations are vital to sustaining our mission. This policy explains the limited circumstances under which a donation may be refunded.

2. General Policy on Donations

In general, all donations made to Global Youth Vision of Hope are considered final and non-refundable. Because donations are used immediately to support our charitable programs, we cannot provide refunds except as outlined in this policy.

3. Circumstances for Refund

Refund requests may be considered in the following limited cases:
- Duplicate donations made in error
- Donor error in the donation amount
- Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions
- Event ticket purchases when the event is cancelled by us
 

4. Process for Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please submit a written request within 30 days of the donation date. Your request should include:
- Full name
- Contact information (email, phone)
- Donation date and amount
- Reason for the refund request

5. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be returned using the original method of payment. If the donation was made by credit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. If by check, a refund check will be issued.

6. Tax Deduction Considerations

If a tax receipt has already been issued for the donation, and a refund is approved, the donor is responsible for correcting any tax filings to reflect the refund.
