Our Commitment to Stewardship

At Global Youth Vision of Hope, we believe trust is built through openness. Every gift you give is used with integrity and care. That’s why we’ve created this page — to share how donations are used, the progress we’ve made, and how we hold ourselves accountable.

Where Your Money Goes

We are currently in Phase I: Building the Home, raising funds to build a safe home for vulnerable youth in Bicol.

At this stage, 100% of donations go directly to construction needs:

  • Land preparation

  • Hollow blocks, bamboo, lumber, and roofing sheets

  • Tools and construction supplies

  • Utilities and site development

(Later phases will include furnishing the home, daily care, education, and community programs. When we reach those stages, we will share updated breakdowns here.)

Project Progress

Our progress so far

  • Land purchased in Sorsogon

  • Local building team identified and hired

  • Land preparation has begun e.g. clearing for roads and buildings

  • Architectural plans developed for first phase development plus future expansion

  • ATVs purchased to support our local construction crew

  • Initial local partnerships established with social workers, community leaders, schools

  • Fundraising underway for construction materials and site development

We will continue to update our projects & milestones with photos, milestones, and fundraising progress as we move forward.

Partnerships & Accountability

We are committed to working hand in hand with:

  • DSWD Region V to ensure compliance with child welfare standards

  • Local government units and schools to support education and family outreach

  • Community leaders and churches to ensure long-term sustainability

Safeguarding Commitment

The safety and dignity of every child is our highest priority. Global Youth Vision of Hope will follow strict safeguarding policies, in line with DSWD guidelines and international best practices.

How We’ll Report Back

  • Donors who subscribe to receive monthly/quarterly updates by email will receive with photos and stories from the project.

  • This site will be updated regularly as milestones are reached.

  • Once our first year closes, we will publish an annual report here for full financial transparency.

Our Promise

We will always be open about where funds go, what progress has been made, and how your generosity is changing lives.

Thank you for trusting us to plant seeds of hope in Bicol.
